NASA have discovered what some consider to be a new form of life. The discovery was made at Mono Lake just outside of Yosemite National Park, California. The microbe discovered appears to not require phosphorus, instead it substitutes it with arsenic which up until was thought to be poisonous to all life. NASA say the discovery will aide in the search for life away from Earth.
